It's alright not to be alright, all the time.

I spotted this recently on a train journey into Birmingham and was so encouraged to read it's words.

Sometimes, it's alright not to be alright.

There is permission here, to own the fact that at times life is difficult and challenging and we won't always feel ok.

And there is no shame in that.

In fact there is plenty of help, to support you in those moments.

This poster shares the number of the Samaritans, who you can call day or night, on their free phone number 116 123.

I'm also here to help. As a counsellor, I have trained for a number of years in understanding why we sometimes don't feel ok and how we can find ways to explore those feelings and come to terms with them.

I called my counselling business Whatever The Weather because life is like a weather forecast. Sometimes it's sunny, other times it's stormy with a chance of rain.

It's also alright, to ask for help.

If I can help you, get in touch.
