Litter picking

Today I went litter picking.

After an hour I returned to where I began and noticed more litter on the floor.

Would my work ever be done!

BUT I got thinking, how much worse would it be, if we ignored the rubbish on the ground and it grew?!

I think this is like counselling... There is continually new ground to go over, new areas to explore and life experiences to dig into.

It's a continual process and one, just like the litter picking, brings uncomfortable moments and surprises along the way - is always worth doing.
